Karl Lagerfeld created again an extraordinary presentation for his Chanel spring /summer 2011 ready to wear collection. The breathtaking and surreal black and white garden setting inspired by the film “Last Year at Marienbad” amplified the luxuriously beautiful collection. There were a lot of carefully distressed fabrics that looks so young and chic, my favourite of course is the faux-wrecked tweeds with holes.
How cute were Brad Kroenig and his little boy Hudson on the show? Of course Karl’s male muse Baptiste Giabicon was there too. Speaking of muse, isn’t it great that Karl and Ines de la Fressang patched things up? I’m so excited to see Ines back in Chanel again.
