“I've had two years to grow claws mother. Jungle Red! “Good thing someone uploaded these great scenes in Youtube.com. The Women (1939) by George Cukor and base on Claire Boothe Luce’s play and not the horrendous remake in 2008 is always fun to watch. The plot may not be politically correct specially now, but it’s just pure entertainment. I love the sparkling snappy dialogues, the great casts-featuring the golden Hollywood’s era top screen goddesses (Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russell, Norma Shearer, Joan Fontaine and Paulette Goddard) and of course Adrian’s design.
According to Wikipedia George Cukor wanted to delete the 10 minutes Technicolor Adrian’s fashion show but studio insisted on keeping it.
