Menswear label Heren van Koster was created by "Sacha Golden Heel Award 2009" winner, Roos Koster. According to her, the label was inspired by men who are very confident and have big personality. She even went to describing Heren van Koster men as "gorgeous dirty butterflies “ who will wear mismatched socks within their boots, often with holes in them. They have facial hair that extends the face. After a sunny day a singlet print is visible on their bodies. Without shame they will wear a stained pair of design trousers.”
