For the Spring /Summer 2010 men’s fashion week in Milan Alexander McQueen opted for film and showroom presentation instead of his usual runway show. Collaborating with photographer David Sims they created a short film titled “Analyze That!” a film about the struggle of artist in making his art. But if you are not really into the film’s whole emotional drama of a tortured artist creating process you would at least enjoy the Alexander McQueen’s collection.
McQueen designed perfectly tailored clothes with a lived in look. I love the paint stains on suits, holes on cardigans, ink scribbles on jackets and shirts and patchwork design printed on jackets. I can see an early Rei Kawakubo influence. Alexander McQueen really presented interesting clothes for a small collection.
