After working for the avant-garde fashion line CARPE DIEM as a material researcher and visual brand communicator designer Issei Fujita decided to form his own clothing label LUMEN ET UMBRA. His great skill in researching new material, his fascination of Japanese simplicity and influence of Italian living can be seen in the amazing hybrid of east and western design of his minimalist and sculptural clothing.
Every LUMEN ET UMBRA collections are highly conceptual. Issie Fujita first collection was on March 2006 in Paris. Five shirts models were treated with a special technique that allows printing light on clothes.
