Copenhagen Fashion Week Men's Spring/Summer 2009

Copenhagen fashion week Spring/Summer 2009 was held on August 06 to 10. The over all feeling of the clothes was very happy and optimistic. Bright colours dominated the shows, even the show The Last Fashion whose theme was about death penalty showed clothes that were in pinks and teals. Leading Scandinavian brand Bruuns Bazzar showed a lot beautiful classic clothes and also introduced their diffusion line called BZR which caters for more edgier and younger clienteles.

Jean Philip showed raw and decadent collection for spring and summer 2009. There’s a lot grays with dash of orange. The clothes were bondage inspired and almost unisex: skinny and fitted button downs dominated the show. My favourite from Jean Philip is the tracksuits and short done on linen with black leather details. The way he pleated the pants to give volume is both interesting and flattering.

Henrik Vibskovs again showed a very creative collection. His really a talent in doing prints. Won Hundred’s sleeveless shirt with huge arm holes were very intriguing.
