Here are some of the photos of Berlin Fashion Week Men’s Spring/Summer 2009 that was held on July 17 to 20. Hamburg designer Michael Michalsky created a collection inspired by summer 68, anniversary of the German Green Party. So for spring/summer 2009 Michalsky is all about millionaire hippies, champagne-socialist. Some of the clothes have the iconic graphics of the protest rally heydays and futuristic hippie prints with the collaboration with Japanese artist Shinpei Naito. Hugo label by Hugo Boss designed by Bruno Pieters showed the usual Hugo clothes – sharply tailored and strictly minimalist.
Joop were inspired by the nineties techno scene and Japanese kimono. I find the Khaki sleeveless kimono and shorts looks quite sexy and interesting.
