Stockholm (STHLM) fashion Spring/ Summer 2009 presented men a lot of very wearable clothes, with the exception of knitted tights or was it knitted sweater worn as pants, everything looks an exciting fresh take on men’s basic wardrobe. There are a lot of shorts, shrunken pants and cardigans. Inspired by Bauhaus, internationally renowned Swedish brand Acne offered clean lines, narrow silhouettes in subtle colour palettes paired with lizard cowboy boots for spring/summer 2009. As usual, the minimalists in me love the Filippa K clean and crisp collection. The clothes seem transcends occasion- you can wear it for day- evening or casual, formal events. There are some unique pieces from the brand 5th Avenue Shoe Repair that looks very interesting: layered uneven shirt and beige coats with bean shape bulky pocket sprouting on the chest. If one wants very comfortable clothes without sacrificing style, he could go to Carin Wester who offered knitwear with amazing texture in subtle colours.
