Celebrated Brooklyn-based artist Sean Kenney designs and creates amazing sculptures, portraits and furniture using LEGO pieces. Known also as a “professional kid” he always tries to capture the essence of his subject.
Sean quit his desk jog and followed his passion for LEGO and creating. The results are dazzling art works imbued with a lot of spirit and life.
His traveling exhibit “Nature Connects”—in which his man-made creations are embedded at arboretums and botanical gardens—is on the road through 2019. His works become more extra spectacular when surrounded by the living world. The juxtaposition of green foliage and sharp edges of each block really stands out.
